Engineering Analyst - Black Thunder Mine

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Oversee the surface surveying effort.
• Perform surface surveying as part of the surveying team.
• Prepare reports and update mine maps and profiles using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Maintain AutoCAD and I-Site files.
• Work with engineers in design of new mine projections and projects.
• Interface daily with supervisors.
• All work must be performed in strict compliance with established environmental and safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Associate degree in surveying - qualified experience may be substituted for degree.
• At least two years of experience in surface surveying.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and I-Site Studio software
• Proficient with setup and operation of survey level equipment.
• Proficient with setup and operation of Trimble GPS and I-Site survey equipment.
• Solid knowledge and experience of surveying fundamentals, calculations, and note taking techniques.
• WY Mine Foreman Certification (current).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional Land Surveyor Registration
